Discount Car and Truck Rentals...

I arrived to find no truck available until the next day. Girl was very nice and empathetic but I wanted a day off work and had to take an additional day the next day. I pick up the truck and the girl has me check to see if gas tank is full but she doesn't explain that the guage says I have fuel for 677 kms when I refill it tops 830 so I didn't really have a full tank.

I had a reference number from our insurance company for the rental of two vehicles. We were finally able to get one but the other was a reference number from another location. The agent did not want to be at work on a Saturday morning and did everything possible to make this an awful experience. Monday we returned to get the second vehicle, same agent was there, she refused to give us her managers contact information. Not even her name. The entire time she never got our of her chair. Her inspection of the car was a quick walkabout. I questioned the marks on the door handle and the pits in the windshield. Both were dismissed quickly. We did get our second vehicle at the second location Douglas Dale) Les was great!!! I will never recommend Discount at 61st and 2nd street to anyone.

Needed a rental truck last minute,booked with these guys and was confirmed right away.Showed up and the lady at thr 61st ave se location coulsnt have been easier to deal with.Will be using Discount from now on Just feel stupid I didnt use them earlier.

We needed a moving truck to move one way from Calgary to Edmonton. I priced out renting a truck 2 ways and also 1 way. When I called I was told that a one way rental came with 300 km's free and .22 cents per km after that. When we returned the truck to the Edmonton location we were charged for all 342 km's.
