Didn't get the car I had rented

The car I had rented was not available and what i was given instead was overpriced for what i payed

My confirmation price, when I booked the reservation, was a lot lower than what the actual price turned out to be.

Hello, When I was making the online reservation I applied a coupon code I got from a Discount email promotion. The quote came up as a total of $21.61, and I simply though it was a great promotion and I got really lucky, so I accepted it. After I confirmed and got the receipt email, the receipt basically said, "Thank you. We have just charged you $226.38 plus tax." I was immediately put off of course, so I emailed reservations@discountcar.com and explained the situation, just to see what happened and report a malfunction on your website. Unfortunately I got no reply... I do hope someone reads this feedback and responds. Ideally I would like some compensation for the misunderstanding and to have the website fixed. My car was not ready at the agreed time of pick up.

Despite having a booking confirmed, when I arrived to pick my car up, I was told it was not ready. Allegedly, one of their cars had a mechanic issue but I frankly did not believe what it was said. I had to wait for over an hour to get another vehicle which delayed my travel plans. When I finally return to see if the car was ready, the man said they had had one but he had not taken my phone number and therefore they had to wait until I went back. Ridiculous!! Topped up by the fact that I could not register all my drivers "The system does not take more than 2 drivers for some reason". As a result, I ended up driving most of my 2 week journey myself.

Long queuing to get the car...

The 2 staff members at the counter did their best but queuing for 90 minutes to collect a car which had been already booked... is just unacceptable. I rent very very regularly cars and that was an unexpected bad experience. With respect, I told the Staff. They were sincerely sorry but obviously very very busy. The car itself is a good experience.

One guy working

Took an hour to pick up my rental because there was a single guy working in the branch. One guy to do the paperwork, check-in cars, do the inspection, etc. I only had 2 people in front of me when I arrived and it still took 45 mins for my turn. Feel really bad for the 7 people who showed up while I was waiting.
