do not understand why we made a reservation

Reserved a van on the Monday for a Saturday pick up, arrived Saturday at the south branch at 9:00 am, there was no van waiting, had to drive 20 km's out of our way to pick up the van from the west end location,started our day an hour late, we were not offered any compensation whatsoever

Worst Vehicle Rental Ever

I reserved a vehicle at this location two weeks ahead, on the day I supposed to pick up the vehicle, the vehicle was not available. It was rented out before I arrived. I waited for 45 mins for them to get a vehicle from another location. I rented for 2 days but had to return the vehicle earlier because my plans changed, the lady at the counter told me that a have a balance of eighty something dollars but the guy working with her took over the computer from her and after manipulating the computer told me that I have no balance. I tried to argue with him but it was not helpful. I left, never to rent from this company again.

Profit driven by any means

Upon picking up the vehicle I was explained the procedure for dropping off the keys after hours and when the office was closed. Upon my arrival to drop the vehicle off the office was closed and had a sign on the door with a telephone number to call if need be. Because I was in a hurry I followed the procedure of dropping off the keys without making use of the telephone number of the sign. A few hours later I received a call from Discount telling me that there was going to be extra charges because of a chip stone mark on the windshield. First I was very thorough on my inspection and I am convinced there was no additional chip stone marks. Second I was appalled by the approach of the service clerk wanting to proceed with charges without even inviting me to witness the damage. He was rude and not at all accommodating. I ended the conversation convinced he was being dishonest. The next day I received a telephone call from the Discount office informing me they were going to disregard the chip stone related charges. It all ended well but left a bitter taste on my mouth. I had every intention to pay for the charges provided they were legitimate and had received respectful and customer focused service.

Disappointed with this rental experience.

I reserved a GMC cargo van. When I showed up they didn't have any, only cube vans. I didn't want such a large vehicle. After 20 minutes or so they brought in a Ford Transit Z50. For the entire rental I drove 112 km and, when I filled up prior to returning the van, I put in $19.25 of gas. Nearly $20 to drive 112 km?? I find it hard to believe the tank was full up when I left the Discount lot.

No Invoice upon return

When returning the vehicle, the clerk was unable to provide a final invoice. I had no proof that the vehicle was returned. Have never experienced a rental car company that cannot provide documentation upon return.
