BAD

Was so cold yesterday evening, the employers of Discount Truck Rental location in Waterloo did not offer me a right home at 5:00 PM. Was 12 min. drive a mission impossible for them? Where is the humanity?

Not a wonderful experience

The car was good but there was no pick up and drop off service. I had to walk there for 20min.

Over consumption of fuel

This is the third time that happened to me. I booked an small car week in advance so that it helps me save in fuel too. But this time also instead of 5seater car I was again upgraded to 8seater car which consumes more fuel which is loss to me even after free upgrade which I didn't ask for. When I am travelling over 500kms fuel efficiency makes alot of difference. I was given 10% off which was just $6 off which I appreciate but does not help much.

Car rental

I reserved a economy car. On my arrival there were no economy cars available. The worker tried to give me a pick up truck. I refused. The only cars in the lot were 6 seat , gas -guzzling SUVs. I was the only person who was going to be in the vehicle. Having no choice I took one. It wasn’t even cleaned. After I left the lot I also realized the gas tank was not on full after the clerk checked the cars mileage and gas tank and told me it was.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

I was told that I could bring the car any time before Monday morning so I returned the car Sunday afternoon. On Monday I received a call and was told everything was good and I rated them 9/10. I checked my account and saw I was charged two costs! I called the office and asked why this happened. First they said we only could see one charge, then said maybe it was for Toronto office because of a ticket, etc. - all irrelative clauses. After finding out that I am confident about my right, they said you should come to the center to show us charges in your statement!! When I got there in the afternoon, they found the charges in computer I guess, and told me the charge was because of an extra day. I asked the manager to come, he came and started to justify, and asked for documentation showing I was told by his crew I was allowed to bring car later! I told him I'm certain and I trusted your crew beside the fact that I believe bringing car before Monday is correct. He constantly was showing me the receipt and indicated that you should have brought back the car Sunday at noon. I explained that I had been told I could bring the car anytime before Monday morning, beside the fact that you were closed in my grace period return time so I thought your emplyee was right, regardless of what he had told me. The conversation became nonsense. I knew I was right and was confident I was telling the truth, however, the manager was putting off the case. I told him I don't care about my refund anymore and left because my time was more valuable. This case ruined my day. I recieved a call later and was told I would be qualified for refund. I have been a customer there for years and would never go for rent again. I should reflect their extremly poor customer service to all my friends at university. Now, I am looking for AN OFFICIAL APOLOGY FROM THE WATERLOO RENTAL MANAGER AND HIS CREW. Thanks.
