One of the worse

Would NOT RECOMMEND to deal with this dealership and especially dealing with Rob Walsh. Three of us ordered ford transit cargo vans T250 in 2022 January. Two of the vans was identical order same options. First van was suppose to come with HD trailer package, but came without it. Second van was ordered in grey colour, but came in white. Third van came T150 instead of T250. Plus added not ordered AWD and im assuming other options that comes with AWD. For AWD he said will adjust price accordingly. Two other guys got their T250 and the basic MSRP was $51430, while third came as T150 and basic MSRP was $54930. The other T250 identical order van total cost was $58850, while mine T150 total cost was $62950, after “fair” adjustment of $3700 total price was $59250, $400 more from identical order, just I got T150 instead T250 and on mine was HD trailer package (600$). By Rob words between T250 and T150 price difference is $1400. So I was suppose to pay LESS by $800 (because mine had HD trailer pack) instead I end up paying more by $400. When ordered my van in 2022 January left a deposit of $500, on the purchase agreement there’s no $500 as down payment, while on others two vans $500 exist on purchase agreement. So my $500 somewhere disappeared. Basically he ordered different van for me from whatever I ordered and said if I don’t want I can walk away and place order again (after waiting from 2022 January to 2023 august). So $1200+500 deposit which disappeared total $1700+ interest out of my pocket because of dealership mistakes by ordering different van. Also he was very unhappy when I said I might sell my current van to my friend, to this he said my friend will have to buy from them, not from me, otherwise maybe I won’t get approved for my new van finance. My MSRP went up because he ordered AWD instead of RWD as was original order and they didn’t adjust price accordingly because of his mistake. When called him day before picking up the van to ask him fix the mistake in pricing and that I should pay less by $1400 comparing to T250 he got pissed off and said deal is done either take it or walk away (and wait again almost 2 years). Don’t even get involve with him to save your time and money.

Fast, Friendly, Professional !!

Recently took my 2020 F150 in for some warranty work and also to investigate some powertrain irregularities. Was greeted by Mark in the Southlake Ford Service Department. He was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Mark understood my non-technical description of the powertrain symptoms through a few quick questions. He arranged for a shuttle service to pick me up (both ways) during the servicing of my vehicle. For me, one of the most valuable parts of this experience was the regular (proactive) updates on the servicing of my vehicle from Mark. The vehicle required a 2 day repair and before they proceeded, he checked in with me often to ensure that this was okay and the absence of a vehicle would not impact my day to day work commitments. They even offered to locate a rental vehicle due to the circumstances, which thankfully was not needed. Having endured hundreds of vehicle service appointments across many different brands over the 30+ years, I can confidently say that this was the most pleasant experience I have had to date. Keep up the great work Southlake Ford!

Terrible customer service.

This is a follow up to a poor review I wrote in February while ordering a new truck with salesperson Rick Lanteigne. The reason for the initial poor review was that salesperson Rick did not keep in touch with us- it took 2 months to place the order! It was difficult to order the truck and Rick was not helpful at all. At one point, Rick actually asked that we remove the poor review before placing the order! We did not remove it but 'softened' the review. Six weeks after the order was completed, my husband called to inquire about an approximate delivery date. It was then, we were told the order was never placed! I visited new car sales manager Patrick Morrison to inquire what on earth went wrong. Patrick advised that we never left a deposit for the order. We were utterly shocked. RICK NEVER ASKED US FOR A DEPOSIT! Manager Patrick would not explain what went wrong so, I included the owner of the dealership, Curtis Vickers to the communication. Owner Curtis never acknowledged any of the emails. In the end, manager Patrick's response to the problem after I explained that we were never asked for a deposit was: "there is nothing more for me to add here. You did not buy a vehicle." I believe this terrible experience is all a result of writing a poor review back in February. Without reviews, how is a business to improve service or hear from customers how their experience was? We are utterly shocked and have had better customer service ordering a soft drink. We are very sad.

Mel was awesome. I’d have no issues in coming back to south lake ford. I’d be more than pleased to tell all my family and friends.
