Scott Drummond Motors

We were interested in purchasing a vehicle, and had picked one out at Drummond's. . The young salesperson was very informative, helpful and personable. Any questions that she couldn't answer, she checked with her manager, Mel. A final quote for the car was presented to us, and we took the vehicle for a second test drive before agreeing to purchase. We made a deposit, and were arranging final pick-up, etc., when an error in price was realized by the financial department. Manager Mel, the finance person, and salesperson were discussing it behind closed doors. The young salesperson was sent out to explain the situation. We understood that mistakes happen, and she was in the process of giving us a new quote, when Manager Mel, pranced out. He threw the salesperson under the bus with "She goofed. She's new here. She picked an expired incentive. Blah, blah, blah." I was horrified for the salesperson that Manager Mel had placed the blame on her, let alone in front of the customer! I told him that a) she had spoke to him about the quote, so he had a chance to see it b) we were told the offer was only good if we purchased today (pressure), and I assumed that directive came from him, since it was stated after the salesperson had been into his office, and c) we took the vehicle for a 2nd test drive, which allowed Manager Mel lots of time to review the salesperson's quote yet again. He replied with, "We didn't have to give the lesser incentive to you either." What? We were not being combative. I was actually just defending the salesperson at his point, not disputing the new quote. His response was unprofessional and uncalled for. Once Manager Mel had removed himself, I spoke in private to the salesperson, stating that I was upset that she had been blamed, especially in front of us. Manager Mel should have taken responsibility as her superior. Unfortunately, but with empathy, I told her that because of Mel's attitude, we would not be purchasing today.

They were not pushy at all when purchasing there. They helped us through the whole process. Very wonderful staff that works there giving a pleasant environment. Very knowledgeable.

Everyone we spoke to was very friendly, and quick to help or answer questions. They are very fast and efficient. Chris Wardle was great and called us personally to make sure everything was alright with the car, and that we were happy with our purchase.
