Had a reservation yet waited over an hour and half

Had a reservation, had to wait over an hour and half. Only two staff on hand and showing no signs of urgency. I entered all my information online and still had to reiterate all of it in person. Still waiting for the release of the $350 deposit from my credit card.

Reservation not changed, and dirty truck

I originally had my booking for Monday. Tried calling several times to change to Wednesday and was told “we are super busy, could you call back”. Then when I did speak to someone they assured me it was no problem. On Wednesday when I arrived, I was told that my reservation was cancelled as a no show and my booking was never moved! It was lucky that there was a truck available. The truck itself was very dirty in the cab. Garbage and dirt in cup holders. Stains on the dash etc. Was not happy with my overall experience.

needlessly drawn out and painful

Line up at 9:15 for a 9:30 cargo rental. Rep pulls up my reservation and says its not for the amount or time I thought it was and that it will be 2x as much. Also I have to bring the car back before 4pm as opposed to my reservation time of 7:30am the following day. I explain that what she is saying is not at all consistent with my reservation. I confirm that she is using my reservation #. I ask what it will take to get what I claim my reservation price and time was and she wants to see the email. I cant pull it up on my phone as it was several days back and buried in my inbox. go home. open email and hook up my printer. print for pages. walk back to discount. A new rep helps me this time after another long line up. He assures me that there was no note on my reservation saying I had to return it same day and that I could have it for the time and price I had reserved it at. I dont even need to show him my print out or explain myself. Great. But now I'm an hour late for a move and an two hour elevator reservation window. Additionally the second rep initially refused my vehicle insurance despite providing my policy renewal information showing my itemized coverage and policy info. I pay for option 27, coverage on a non-owned vehicle. The rep claimed I needed commercial insurance for a commercial vehicle. I assured them I would not be using it for commercial purposes. After a long conversation they accepted my insurance. Why does this part always need to be explained? Check out the vehicle. It's great. but now its an hour and a half later and I've missed my elevator window. Thanks Discount!

Good Rental, Poor Customer Service

My Dad and I had no issues with the rental truck itself, there were no hidden fees or costs, everything was upfront, unlimited kms was great, etc. However, we gave them my petro-points card when picking up the truck to pay with points, but they needed a credit card on file for potential damages, fine. When dropping off the truck we again informed them that this rental was to be deducted from my petro-points, the lady at the counter said okay, did some typing on the computer and then proceeded to charge the credit card on file. When we again informed her that we wanted to use the petro-points she said it was too late and if we wanted to address it we would have to speak to a manager. We have been working on this but it is difficult to get in contact with someone.
