VW Canada shameful behaviour

I bought my 2015 Golf TDI in 2019. In February 2022 the Adblue warning light came on (500 km the car will not start). The dealer took the car in and gave me a loner with no knowledge of when the part would come in. It is now October 2023 and the dealer says the part is at least another 6 months away… there is no evidence that the part is ever coming. VW customer support say they care about the customer and the costs involved but they are now $25k + in rental car cost it will be $5k + to make my car road worthy, with no end in site. The car has been sat outside in all elements and is now rusting as the rust prohibitor is powered by the battery which is now dead. The dealer is trying to facilitate a trade assistance but VW Canada are not cooperating. The lack of true oversight and integrity is shameful!

Good morning, Mr. Sparey. It is certainly unfortunate that you have been waiting for an extended period of time for a replacement part from Volkswagen Canada. Unfortunately, we have no control over when the part will arrive. We have certainly tried to facilitate a switch to a new vehicle for you- combined with Volkswagen support- and I'm not sure why we have not been able to facilitate this switch. Please let us know what we can do as a dealership to support you through this challenging situation.

Amazing experience

I got the corrosion warranty repair done in my Jetta and the experience was perfect! The customer service rep took pictures of my rust then it took a couple months for the claim to be approved which is normal. They contacted me when the claim was approved and all the panels with rust on my car were fixed for free. They even went above and beyond and completed extra work on my car and detailed the entire interior before the car was returned.

good and straightforward.

My experience was good, they help me find a used car I was looking for. I would Recommend this beaker to anyone who want to buy a new or used car.

Horrible and appalling conduct by management

Horrible and offensive visit to the Bytek dealership this evening. Wondering if it’s a standard practice of the management team to comment on what young women are wearing when they come in to buy a vehicle? Or do they reserve a safe and comfortable environment for their male customer base? For future reference, no woman walks in those doors wanting any commentary on their appearance or dress from your team. I was a serious customer and deserved to be treated like one. I am raising this concern to ensure that this does not occur when other young women like myself decide to come into the dealership and place trust in the VW brand. That was unwanted, unwarranted and discriminatory conduct. Thanks for solidifying my decision to not drive a VW. I will never represent what you guys stand for as I witnessed exactly that this evening.

Rust perforation warranty repair

Came in for the rust perforation warranty repairs. I was dealing with a terrific employee named Road. He made sure everything went smoothly. He went out of his way to make sure the request went in on time a complete. The work was done perfectly. I got the car back sooner than I expected. I was very happy.
