Myers Kanata Hyundai

I purchased a used 2019 Grand Caravan from this dealership. I had purchased winter tires and they were stored at Canadian Tire so when I went to get them on, CT told me that there was a leak from my transmission. They asked if I wanted to let them check where the leak was coming from. I said yes, they charged me $140 to tell me there was a leak, then wanted an additional $541. I told them about the extended warranty I had purchased at Myers when I purchased the vehicle. CT said they had nothing to do with warranties so I told them I would contact Myers. I contacted Myers, and first I was berated over the phone on why I took my vehicle to CT in the first place. I explained that it was just for the changing of tires. Myers had me bring it in a few days later, and then charged me $180 to tell me I had a leak in the transmission. Was told that they had to do their own diagnostic. I asked about the extended warranty and was told they would contact Tri Care and let me know the following Monday about it and would try to get the $180.00 covered. Monday comes and I got a call telling me that I needed to take my vehicle to Myers Manotick as there was special dipstick that was needed for my vehicle which they didn't have at Myers Hyundai. I was also told that Tri Care had said go ahead and get the repairs done. I bring my vehicle a few days later to Myers Manotick and get told that there is no such thing as a special dipstick AND that the work AND diagnostic was covered by the manufacturers warranty because it was a 2019 and less that 60,000 km. They told me that both Myers Hyundai AND Canadian Tire would have known this. Not only did they screw me around, they ripped me off and made me look like an idiot with regards to this dipstick farce. Myers Manotick was fantastic and helped me out but it was amazing the difference in two dealerships owned by the same company.

I bought my new Hyhundai Elantra 2023 from a sales rep named Ping Tran. Great worker alway above and beyond from my experience. Although there was a manufacturer issue. I will still give a 5star and recommend sales and service here. Lets not forget Josh sales mngr who was always helpful. I will enjoy this new car Thanks Team

I'd been looking for a newer vehicle for months and Joy was the only one who took the time to contact us and let us know of this vehicle the Santa Fe I booked an appointment but was told to not wait till Saturday it might be sold, I took the day off an was taken for a test ride and bought the car that day. What a wonderfull gale she is.

My car had a recall and was sent in to be fixed. I submitted the necessary receipts on Sept. 6 2022. Since then I had heard nothing. I have emailed x2 to the assistant Manager ( Sept. 9 and Sept. 13th) and left two voice mails ( Sept. 16th and Sept. 20). Not one person has called me back to inform me of any updates. It is now 11 business days - attempts to get an update and nothing. I am consistently passed around to different people. It feels VERY unorganized.

I understand that service departments get busy and backed up, but what is the point of accepting a service booking for 9:45 am for a simple level 1 service, and not even having the vehicle go in for service until 11:30 am? I have been a Hyundai customer for over 20 years and have owned 15 different Hyundai vehicles, but I have never experienced this kind of service before. Step it up Kanata Hyundai.
