Great Service Department, Poor Sales Department

The Service Department at Bank St. Kia is excellent. They are efficient, professional and reliable. Booking with them has been pretty easy. Their waiting area is pretty good, with free coffee, hot chocolate etc.... The times they have quoted me for repairs have never been missed and in fact they are often completing the work ahead of the time promised. The Sales Department however, lets them down and accounts for the 3 star rating which is a shame as I would like to give them 5 stars. I just recently purchased my new vehicle through them and during the process I asked quite bluntly if the vehicle came with the features of my old one and they said yes. Get the vehicle and no heated seats which was a feature of my old one. Also I said during the process I wanted to put a $2000 down payment on the vehicle, get to the finance department and they didn't know about it. Asked for new licence plates and they failed to deliver on that. They also told me the vehicle would be ready at 5:00PM and they were late on that. Given the issues I probably should have walked on that sale. They also said my winter tires from my old vehicle would work on the new one, and they don't, too small. Now stuck trying to get rid of 4 used winter tires. Kia does ask for surveys each time you go for servicing, not once after sending a series of very bad reviews (all linked into the purchase) did a manager actually attempt to contact me. I can definitely recommend Bank St. Kia for servicing of the vehicle (all 3 points awarded on this review are for the service department). Their sales department however lets them down by not listening to their customers and not really knowing their vehicles. Buy your vehicle elsewhere. I will take my vehicle into them for service, but will go somewhere else next time to purchase a vehicle.
