Purchase experience

It wasn't poor but there was an all around lack of enthusiasm in the showroom. No smiles just all business all around - a little unexpected given my enthusiasm for picking up a 90k truck.. My salesman was nice but distracted as he was serving me and another customer at the same time. My 25 year old son said to me just after we left that he was glad he didn't have a job there - just from the vibe. For me - being in the retail service business - I might recommend the following 1/ everyone should be asked to smile and ensure all clients are made to feel very welcome , even if they weren't your client. 2/ maybe offer a bottle of water or coffee while we waited.3/ hated sitting at a desk in the showroom, would have appreciated more privacy. 3/ maybe the sales manager would turn up to show the flag and a word of appreciation. Hopefully this is taken as constructive and not punitive. Pat
