So dissatisfied that I emailed the president of Wendell Motors !

After experiencing several extremely poor customer service experiences, I decided to stop having my car serviced there and would not buy another car from them. After sharing my experience with others, I found out that many others had the same view and had moved on to other dealers. For the sake of future customers and possibly Wendell's employees, I thought that I should share these opinions with Wendell's senior management.... as I am a senior manager for a large consumer product company, and I definitely want to know where and how I can improve the company or customer experience. When I tried to contact the GM, I was told that he was out of town and they weren't sure when he would be back. When I told them that I wanted to speak to a senior manager, they told me to call back the following week. I went on-line and found the president's email address as I didn't want to wait "until next week" (4-5 days) . I emailed the president providing the specific facts and dates of my experiences as well as the feedback from others regarding my and their past experiences. Not surprisingly but disappointing was that I did not receive any correspondence from anyone at Wendell. I was not seeking 'free goods' but thought that I might be contacted stating that they would look into the situation and take any necessary or appropriate 'customer service' action to prevent such occasions from occurring in the future. That is what I would have done with my staff and what should have been done as a senior manager of a company. If someone takes the time and courtesy to provide information, they do earn the respect of a reply ... even if they cannot find an acceptable resolution to that customer. But as you can guess, I have heard nothing. Which is possibly why customer service issues still prevail at Wendell and customers continue to receive unacceptable customer service and choose other dealerships or in several cases, have chosen other car brands for future purchases.
