Lack of attention to service and details

When I booked online, I did not realize that the rental office was off-site (from the airport in Vancouver). Maybe this information could be more explicite on online reservation sites in order to better manage expectations. The service was mediocre (slow and not very focused). I was under the impression that the young gentleman that served us had just woken up. I don't understand why the car was not ready on my arrival since it was a pre-reserved car. We had to wait for them to fetch the car at the end of the parking lot and wash it (why was that not taken care of before our arrival, especially with 5-6 people in the garage ?). The premisses were not very welcoming (not very clean). It wasn't a positive experience.
