I got charged for 1 extra day by the branch

I called the branch and requested that I will be returning the van by 6.20 to 6.30 pm and the representative at the branch confirmed me that it's Ok and then all of a sudden after 2 days they charged me and now they told me that it's our policy. I would appreciate if a manager number or an email can be provided.
