Honesty is the best policy
I recently had my vehicle in to have a tire repaired, oil change and a complete detail of the vehicle. I had made the appointment 3-4 weeks prior. Upon drop off - everything was good, my husband picked me up and I was to return at the end of the day to get my car.
Around 11am I received a phone call that my car was ready but the detail was not completed as there was no detailer in on Saturdays - he was apologetic and said they should have never booked me for a detail on a Saturday when no one is in.
I was extremely upset as if this was in fact the case, they should not have booked me in for a detail, or they should have informed me when I dropped off the vehicle.
I was rescheduled for another detailing appointment the following Monday and offered a rental vehicle to make up for my disappointment.
This did alleviate some of my frustration and I was thankful they offered me a rental prior to me requesting one.
My only disappointment was that they lied to me.
1) There is a detailer in on Saturdays - I phoned and asked customer service a week later.
2) The girl at the counter when I came to pick up my vehicle said the detailer was sick and that's why it wasn't done.
Overall - very happy things got done eventually.
