Confusing

When we made the appointment, we asked to rent a car since there was no room to wait inside and they didn't know how long the work would take. There was supposed to be a car waiting for me at 7:45. I was there at 7:30. No car showed up and at 8:00, I stuck my head in the door and the receptionist called Nelson. He said that the service would probably only take 45 minutes max, and I could just wait. If that info had been given to us the previous day, I would have just decided to wait. But, my question is this.....what happened to the car that was supposed to be there at 7:45? Thanks to Nelson and the receptionist for their help in all of this. Gwen Harrington
