Vehicle had 30,000 more km than advertised
I wish I could say that I had a positive experience but sadly, this was not the case. A day after taking the vehicle home, I discovered that there was 30,000 more km on the odometer that stated on the ad, as well as on the sales contract, and the sticker on the window. At first Joel said that he will make it right, then later stated that there was nothing he could do. I had to argue every step of the way just to get $1000.00 knocked off the negotiated price and even then he would not refund the tax that I paid on that $1000.00. It seems to me that Moncton Honda could have been more fair in resolving the matter. That being said, Joel is probably a great guy and I would have a beer with him any day. However I will not buy a vehicle from him. As for the vehicle, I will buy a Honda any day as they are quality vehicles. The van seems to run great and I have no issue with it other than the extra wear and tear on it which in my opinion will depreciate it's value by much more that $1000.00.
On another note....I was surprised that after my purchase, I began receiving facebook advertisements about Moncton Honda...Probably coincidence. What is not a coincidence is the email I received from XM radio congratulating me for my purchase and soliciting me to pay for a subscription. I do not recall authorizing my email address to be given to third parties however this is a minor annoyance and does not substantially affect the two star rating.
You have asked for my rating and this is my sincere assessment of Moncton Honda's performance.
Sincerely, Stephen Frost
