Eastern College Saint John NB
I love Eastern College, I am extremely happy I chose to attend the Community Service Worker program in this school! its great, all the staff is super supportive, the campus director Ami is amazing!

Awesome!
As a student at Saint John Campus I really felt that I was cared for and everyone wanted me to succeed. I enjoyed the half day classed which allowed me to be home with my children and further educated myself. The Instructors and staff were always understanding and willing to assist me with one on one time if I was struggling. I am very glad I choose to come here. I am currently working in the field I had chosen. Proud Grad class of 2010!

Waste of money
Paid $20000 for the child and youth care diploma, graduated in 2010 then found out that the diploma program isn't even recognized in Nova Scotia. They did nothing to correct this as there were hundreds of students who were out of thousands of dollars.

Worst experience I have had in my life.
Very unprofessional from a majority of the people working there to the post graduation 'student help'.. No one listened or cared about any criticism that was being put forth by the students, nor did anyone fix the issues that were happening within the classroom.. Teachers leaving leaving early/coming in late or not showing up at all.. Not learning material we were told we would learn..
Missing review days for exams due to lack of professionalism put stress on everyone that was involved with that exam, and it wasn't fair for students to miss out due to someone being unprofessional..

LIfe Changing
I went back to school after being laid off of my job of 19 years. They walked me through the process, and made it less stressful. If I had any questions or issues, I knew I could go to instructors or Campus Director and they would help me. I looked forward to going to school, and had a positive attitude - a must in my opinion! I had several different instructors, learned something new from all of them. After I was done, they kept in touch, as I had let them know I was open to new job opportunities if they came up. Students have to put in the effort, you get what you put into it. Work hard, come to class every day, be open to new things. I am so glad I chose Eastern College.
