Excellent experience!

James was very helpful and made our experience very positive. We haven't had a new vehicle for 10 yrs and James made it a lot of fun and exciting. We love our new Santa Fe and we would definitely recommend James and Myers Hyundai Kanata to everyone.

Friendly and relaxed

The experience was very laid back and zero pressure compared to other dealers. Jamie was extremely friendly and likable and the vehicles seemed high quality and a more reasonable price than the competition.

The supervisor wasn't educated and did not know how should approach a customer. I found him very rude.

The salesman was friendly but when it came to negotiating the price, he literally increased around $2000 above the online price (by adding expenses like, doc fee, or other unrelated items in our bill) and then after 3 to 4 hours of negotiation reached to $300 more than online price. In between the conversation he kept promising to give us a winter tire for example as a bonus but at the end we never received any bonus whatsoever. I called the dealer next day and mentioned the situation, somebody picked up the phone and agreed I bring a cheque for $300 less (that means the same online price). I did as I was advised, but the next day an unintelligent supervisor came around and denied the situation. He kept showing a brochure and giving false information as if we don't understand that he is not knowledgeable. He was treating us as if we are a 2 years old kid by giving false information. He was literally the worst customer service supervisor that I ever saw in my life. I can't remember his name but he was iranian. At the end another guy in the finance was nice and found that we were telling the truth about the negotiated price and he gave us the promised $300 discount. But they never gave us anything extra as the salesperson was advertising between his sales pitch. Like when he kept saying he is going to give a winter tire for compensation etc. At the end we bought the car with the same online price. We could get much better deal in other places and we definitely would get compensated with money or something like winter tire if we would have applied in other dealer like the one in Carling Ave. Those people gave one of our family $2000 discount for a brand new Accent. We got nothing but a very rude approach from an unintelligent supervisor.
