I recently placed a post on here about how great Race auto was. Now let me tell you a bit about this. First let me say that the Sales lady Heather Cairnes is by far the only honest one in the bunch.
I bought my dream car(jeep) since I was little and I was over the moon with excitement. Now in saying that I have not owned this Jeep for 30 days yet. My excitement is GONE. I have had issues with some things and they where looked at but the Jeep was inspected with the emergency brake not working. Proof that it wasn't working came when I got a second opinion from the dodge dealers. There were pieces missing and bulging in the lines etc etc,. Now that I got the second opinion they no longer want to do any work to the jeep. MIND BLOWN... You see the only reason I got the second opinion was the mechanic himself said and I QOUTE do not worry the emergency brake is not for holding the car on a hill. Mean while the other guy says its just there. Now I am no mechanic but I do know that the emergency brake is to HOLD the car on hills and to help if your brakes where to fail. I can drive with the emergency on. The moment I called them out Lori W explained to me that they will put no more money into the Jeep and I should come and get another car. Now as I stated before DREAM car for me. If I wanted another car I would have chosen another. They refused to put anymore parts even though dodge has pointed out they are faulty and need to be replaced. If you buy from Race Auto please do your homework. Take the car to a mechanic make sure your take care of you. I am doing my due diligence now to protect myself and my purchase. I have no ill feeling towards the company but believe that they should do there part in this mess.
From the moment I walked in the door and continuing after the sale was completed, the Race team made sure my needs were met. They put me into a vehicle I wanted at a price I could afford.
I will never be back. I did not enjoy the fact that I had purchase a vehicle that could not pass a safety inspection on the day of purchase. Enough Said.
I've dealt with this group on two occasions. They're staff is friendly, quick working, effective and want to do what's best for the client. Very pleased with the way they handle situations !
