We went looking for a used vehicle to replace our older Dodge Caliber as we’ve had nothing but issues with the vehicle since purchased. We put Race Auto Group on our visit list as well as a few other dealerships. We don’t like being pressured or forced into purchasing a vehicle and were pleasantly surprised at how Race Auto operates. They don’t work on commission so while they may have sales targets of some kind, they don’t make direct commission on a sale. This means that the regular pressure tactics and up-sales are non existent here. Dawn was very helpful and based on a few questions knew exactly what type of car we were looking for and pointed out several on the lot we could test drive that matched our price range, vehicle comfort level and requirements. She even had another vehicle of the same type ready for us to try when we brought the other one back from a test drive. It was just a pleasant all around experience.
We ended up getting a very good trade in value for our current car and a new interest rate that was half of what we were paying previously. You simply cannot pass on a deal like that!
We had one small issue with the vehicle which the dealership traced to a faulty fuse. There is no way Race could have known about this so I don’t hold them accountable for the problem. Luckily, there were still several years worth of warranty left on the vehicle so the repairs are covered.
I highly recommend Race to anyone looking to purchase a gently used vehicle. Almost all of the cars we saw were within the past 2 years and were in great condition. I absolutely love our Hyundai Accent. It is fun to drive, great to look at, and was at a price that would be tough to beat!
The staff was very friendly and helpful in getting me the lowest interest rate possible. I only had one issue that was never resolved and that was my truck had damaged/missing seatbelts that they didn't want to go good for. They were never there when I purchased the truck but I did not realize until after 30 days.
They did whatever they could do to get me the car o wanted.
The girls were great. I had a car to trade in and they gave me the best possible value for it. And also checked with more than one financial institution to get me the best interest rate.
