Eastern college was a great learning environment. I really felt that I was able to speed through all the programs, and getting into a job where I am able to continue to expand on the skills learned in my program. I felt the "basic" classes should not have been mandatory, I would hope that an accounting student would already know how to add and subtract, but other than that I loved it. all the teachers were so great and caring and worked their hardest to help us out in all our personal situations
It help me get recognized in my field, in Canada as I already had an European Bachelor Degree.
I found the program to be up do date, basic and helpful. I wish I wouldn't have taken the Payroll part of the program as there aren't any jobs in this field in my community and it requires constant membership updates and fees. I would have liked to learn more about audit and internal control as it is a big part of my current job. Also, I would have chosen Business Administration, if I would have known they do the same Accounting courses. Overall I am glad I took the program, as I helped my get a job in an international company, where I have my field placement.
Overall it was a very positive experience, they got me started on the right track right out of the gate and ready to start learning again. Going back to school as an adult didn't seem easy but Eastern college definitely helped it feel like it was.
Terrible... Unorganized. Told that they help with the job search after graduation... Which is completely untrue... Also very expensive for the education you receive.
Eastern College was the best experience of my life. All the instructors were motivating and supportive. They were excellent at giving us the tools to put forward into our careers. I'm so glad I made the decision to go there.
