My experience here has been great. When I first started here, I was extremely quiet. There was no way you would get a sentence spoken out of me. Two months into Medical Admin (May 2016) I joined the social committee and soon after I became a social butterfly.

What does Eastern College mean to me? In one word I would say family. I gained so
much during my time at the school and one of those things was the amazing support system. I learned about many new community supports, nonprofit supports, government supports etc. I will be able to take this and use the information in my personal and professional career.
I gained family members in my class mates and friends for life. I got to know all of the site staff and found everyone super helpful; they were quick to answer my questions and worked towards helping me move forward.
During the course I learned about social issues, cultural awareness, family systems, child
development, adult development, addictions and treatments, how to write reports, file
paperwork, and so much more. While learning all of this I learned about myself, my family, my environment, community etc. I entered this program feeling like I was searching for so much and left feeling like I had made a great accomplishment. I am so happy to say that this course has forever shaped the way I will raise my family. It is true that there is no such thing as a bad kid.
We learned through a variety of methods such as hands on learning, textbooks, tests,
community outings, volunteer work, observations, role plays, group work, individual work,
informational interviews and more.
I would highly recommend anyone with a passion for helping children and youth to take this course. The months I spent in this building were some of the most memorable and rewarding I have had. I will forever be grateful for everything this opportunity has provided me. They always say you're going to miss this and wish you had it
back and they are absolutely true!

I really enjoyed my experience at Eastern College; I am very pleased that I choose to further my career with you guys! Amazing teachers and great peers that are always there to help one another in times of need!
My experience with eastren college was great a lot of wonder instructors... Everyone is willing to help you with what ever you need help with and always asks if you need the help.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at eastern College St. John's, Nl Campus. The instructors, Shawn Mercer, Tina Kroll and Dawn Butler-Drake were absolutely amazing. Campus services could be improved, bathroom cleanliness was always an issue, a canteen with prepared meals would also greatly increase campus life. As well as something to help school spirit...? Student council perhaps? Thank You for reading.
