Absolutely awful service
I went in to Haldimand Motors last week and was looking at buying a car. When I walked into the office I was looking for someone to help me. Although there was about 5 salesmen sitting around on chairs, the manager had to ask who wanted to help us by grabbing the keys for our test drive. One man got up, although he seemed like he would rather sit there and do nothing. The first car I test drove wouldn't even start, the second one had brakes that were shot and was vibrating loudly. Finally I found a car that was in good condition, although it was an absurd price compared to other sellers. I went in with a man named Rob to do a credit check. He did not have very good customer service skills, no handshake, no business card, and he generally seemed to just want to sell us a bunch of products we didn't want. We mentioned that our friend bought a car recently and was able to get a good deal on winter tires, and he replied "Bullshit". Overall terrible customer service. I walked out of there ready to buy the car, but because of the service we decided to check our JP motors in Burlington. When we went there we received absolutely excellent service with happy, nice salesmen that greeted us immediately. We got a nice car in good condition with an amazing price, and we even got a three year warranty. I called Rob back and said that he could tear the agreement up because there was no way I was going back after I dealt with the excellent service at JP motors. I work with the major bodyshops in the area, and because of the awful service I received I will tell ALL of my clients to NEVER go to Haldimand Motors EVER. There is a reason why JP Motors is growing and Haldimand is declining.
