Hi Cory. Sorry you had to wait longer than expected for your vehicle. I see on your last visit we had to reprogram the instrument panel cluster and the transfer case shift control module. We also did an oil change. We are happy to see that there was no cost to you. I am afraid that once in while things get backed up in the shop when the jobs ahead of your vehicle take longer to complete than expected. These unforeseen delays happen because it is impossible to know exactly how long any single job will take until the vehicle is in the shop and diagnosis is complete. Even then, there is often more than meets the eye at first. Advisor meetings only occur once a month, and consultants actually give up their lunch break to have a meeting. They do this in order to maximize their contact with guests throughout the rest of the day. It is not likely that a lunch meeting which lasts less than one hour would delay any job for 2 hours, even if a guest is waiting for closing administration. In addition, the technicians take lunch breaks as well during that period. Unfortunately, it cannot be argued that any employee should be forced to skip their lunch. However, I am sure that if you knew about any circumstances that would limit access to your advisor, or that would delay completion of the repair of your vehicle, ahead of time, that any such delay would be much less disruptive to your daily plans. Therefore, we concede that extra effort can be made to ensure our guests know about any delays with respect to the completion time of their auto repairs, and we thank you for bringing that to our attention. If you have any further questions or comments please feel free to call or email our service department. Happy motoring!
