Buyer beware
There were a number of things during the sale that made me wary. However, I let me need to replace my old vehicle quickly, and my instant like for the car I saw, over-ride my rational brain.
I am not happy with the fact that the previous owner apparently did not keep up the maintenance. According to the service manager with whom I spoke this weekend, so long as the car will pass safety and emissions, the dealership has met it's technical requirements. I should realize that the salesperson is going to maximize profits, and the dealership is only going to do the bare necessities when it comes to the used car sale. Thus, I will be stuck with costs I really can't afford (transmission flush etc)
The fact that only one key was made available struck me as cheap as well.
Again, I should have known better. Hopefully, when I replace my other car (in the next year or so), I'll remember this lesson ...
