Rude staff lacking communication skills with sub-par product delivery
Throughout my experience with Haldimand's I've had to reach out to the sales person to get updates. I had to reach out to find out if I was approved for financing, to ask for an update on when the car will be available, and when the 'week' waiting period was almost over I had to reach out again. At some points the salesperson did not even return my e-mails.
I have never heard of a dealership taking up to a week to check and clean the vehicle. A family member purchased a vehicle on Saturday, and they took delivery of the car Monday morning. Urgent attention needs to be paid to your turn-around time.
I called the office to inquire about my car and heard the occult-like phrases of 'up to a week' and 'we work as a team' being repeated over and over again like a parrot. The salesperson (different from the first) was rude, interrupted me, and would not give me a chance to speak.
I was finally notified that my car was ready for pick up (the secretary was also rude). The interior of the car seemed clean, but the outside looks like it was washed with a dirty cloth and water. The engine was absolutely filthy, no attempt was made to clean it up.
Overall my experience with Haldimands was disappointing and unsatisfactory. I will not do business with your organization in the future, and will definitely not recommend your organization to others. I urge management to seriously investigate the issues with their staff, and better train them in customer service delivery. As previously stated, the constant repetition of phrases like 'we work as a team' and 'up to a week' have an occult feeling about them, and sound so rehearsed and scripted.
