Parts Department
My car was at that time was approximately 5 months old, approximately 2000KM. The block heater cord while I was unplugging it shorted out caught fire and burned off. I took the car to the dealer, Murry Hyundai in Winnipeg for service. I was told by the Service Writer very politely that the cord was not a warranty issue. I disagree with that comment, however I would hope that this would be investigated and will become a part of the warranty. My problem is with the parts person, I asked if there was a heavier cord that could be installed, the parts person told me no, I showed him the cord that was left, and he told me that I had driven off with the cord in the outlet thus breaking it off. I told him I did not, and he said I was not tell the truth and became rude.
