Very disappointed

I bought my son a 2010 camaro with factory warranty and extended warranty so he wouldn't have to pay for repairs until he was done with high school. We didn't need factory warranty but we did need extended warranty for the timing chains. I myself am a journeymen industrial mechanic so we chained oil, apparently this voided the warranty on the motor and I covered the cost. Now his slave cylinder in the transmission went and once again, extended warranty did not cover it and again, I covered the cost. I feel that nobody cared about that nor was anything even offered. My wife is looking at a new vehicle and I am not going to get a GM when dodge treats me better.

Dwight, I'm sorry that happened. Being a mechanic of course you felt validated to do your own service, unfortunately that does void your warranty on vehicles these days. This doesn't come up too often as not too many people feel comfortable working on a modern engine. I hope we have the chance to earn your business sometime in the future.
