CAROL LATTER

Sad end to my beloved Malibu Hybrid
After the "Service Hybrid" message came on my car, I arranged a service appointment immediately, but the car had to be towed in on the day. As it turned out, the car needed a completely new motor, apparently at the cost of $8,000 approx, which would need to be ordered from the US. As the car was only a 2009, with a mere 110,000 kms on it, we decided no to risk spending that kind of money on it and sent it to an auto wrecker, for which we received $350.00
Although there was no concern with your dealership and the handling we received from your staff, I am extremely disappointed in the loss of this car, which I loved, and with so little warning. The fact that no other warning lights came on until the car was near death is extremely upsetting to me still.
As I had previously owned a Toyota, which was still running when I sold it at 12+ years, I went immediately to Toyota and purchased a 2017 Camry.
Do understand that my disappointment is with the car, and not with your dealership or your staff, who were always friendly and helpful.
