No follow through
I was promised a vehicle for my work, with the accessories I need to do my work properly and safely. The vehicle was not available for several weeks beyond what I was told. The vehicle was then delivered without the owner's manual, and without the tonneau cover that was included in the deal. No one informed me that it was not the proper tonneau, I was left to point this out myself, as though it were hoped that I wouldn't notice. In the TWO months since I've received the truck I've visited the dealership to discuss the issue (and to get the refund back from my deposit that was only given two weeks after delivery upon my request). I've also sent several emails to give specific details about the issue (cheap tonneau cover, installed at dealership, coming off as I drive on the 417 the day I pick up the vehicle), and I have sourced the appropriate tonneau and offered to order it or give contact information for the supplier. In every email I have been polite but stressed that this is an URGENT issue so that I can safely do my work. I cannot have a tonneau cover with flimsy latches, flying off on the highway while I drive hours in a day. I have received no response in the past month and have been too busy to drive the 30 minutes into the dealership again to 1) get my owners manual (can these not be mailed?!!!) and 2) to once again request that I am given the vehicle with the tools that I was promised. I was all but begged to bring my business to Myers Nissan from other competing dealerships. As soon as a deal was made, the service ended.
