Follow up service
I purchased a 2018 Sante Fe, but had no owner's manual to update me on the vehicle's features. Asked for a manual, and a manual for a 2017 was provided. The features could be exactly the same, but how would I know. Throughout the purchase process I mentioned that I was hoping to be a loyal Service customer at this location - as my history had shown with my last Hyundai purchase. I purchased every extended service contract possible as a show of faith. However no mention of when 1st service appointment would be required. No introduction to any one at the service department. Secondarily I received free snow tires with the purchase, but had the all-season tires on my car when picked up (as requested). I did think that failing meeting the service department, that I would receive a call (as an icebreaker) and schedule an appointment for the tire exchange to place the winter tires on. Nothing took place.
The initial contact with Sales and Finance when extremely well, and resulted in me purchasing the vehicle on first visit to the dealership. However from the day of vehicle pickup to now, my impression has been one of "We have your money, please move along". It is disappointing that despite my expressed desire to have a solid vehicle service relationship with Hunt Club Hyundai, and the extended warranties and coverage purchased - that it has not been reciprocated at any level by this dealership.
