Tired of poor customer service
We purchased a Silverado in summer 2017. The sales rep was overjoyed to show us their “amazing” service centre, and excited to tell us that service on the truck was “free” (as opposed to included in the sale price of the truck?) for the first two years.
We have since used these services a few times now. I have NEVER left the service department happy. The level of customer service provided by the employees is mediocre at best. They are not friendly or respectful. Somehow today, our truck, which was in early in the morning for a tire rotation, was not only not ready 2.5 hours later, had not even been started. When I asked why, the representative responded “I don’t know”. When I asked if it was a scheduling issue, as they seemed busy and I had overheard someone say they were overbooked, he said “you could say that”. No apologies until I became visibly frustrated. No real explanation. I left with such frustration that frankly next time it needs servicing I’d probably consider taking it to my own mechanic who is polite, on time and who I trust. This is frustrating because it is not the first time the service here has been lacking.
Don’t boast if you can’t substantiate the statements.
