Service and Repairof Dodge Ram
I brought my Ram 1500 hundred for 85 point inspection and I was quoted for some repairs. Which included driver side tail light bulb and passenger side reverse bulb replacment. I picked my truck on thursday evening, and I noticed driver side tailight was still not working. It was a long weekend, so I brought my truck back on following tuesday. The service advisor told me that the bulb was unplugged and said that passenger side taillight was glued on and it came off when the mechanic was having look. I didn’t realised that they replaced a passenger side bulb last week so I looked at my service record and told Karen that you guys replaced a bulb last week and how come it was not glued on at that time. She clearly had no answer, instead she put that on me that you might have tried to fix it at home. I told if would have do it myself, I wouldn’t have paid you guys $90 for replacing bulbs.
The is scam, you guys are breaking things yourself and then asking customers to pay to get it fixed and you guys are so unprofessional that you don’t even know how to fix a bulb.
The reason people come to dodge service center instead of going to a local mechanic is the trust, that their vehicle is in right hands and the mechanic knows what he is doing. I paid $1500 for the repairs and I feel completely ripped off and unsafe becaz I dont know what else can come off like they forgot to plug the bulb.
I have got the proof of service records which clearly shows how first time you repaired the tailight and second time it says it was glued on which clearly shows thats you guys break things yourself for us to pay you.
I am planning to give these copies to Global News Calgary so that public can see what scam is going on with Dodge. The brand which people has been trusting for more then 100 years.
