Nothing went as planned.

Our family waited for the Discount shuttle at the YVR domestic terminal for more than 45 minutes. At the rental office, after 30 minutes wait, the employee informed us that the SUV we reserved 3 months ago was not available and offered us a pick-up truck in replacement. Since we had a ferry to catch, we ended up with a partly clean Dodge Grand Caravan, which was not the best car for this 2 weeks rental. The employee did his best and was very professional, this is not his fault. The problem seems to be systemic in servicing airport customers properly and most important, into taking measures to make sure the right car is available.
