The worst experience ever

I had reserved a rental vehicle and the operator confirmed that a rental vehicle was booked. When I was at the Discount location (239 61 Ave SE #2, Calgary, AB T2H 0R4), they confirmed my reservation code but there was no vehicle available for me. They asked me take a car that was in for oil change and come back the day after to get the oil change for this vehicle. Since I had to be at work by 8am, the guy at discount (I believe his name is Tom) asked me to be at their location by 7:30am to drop off and then their driver will drive me to the work. When I was there at 7:30am, there was only one person (I believe her name is Amy) there who were too busy looking at her SNS to help me. She clearly did not wanted to help me by saying that she has no idea what is going on and went back to looking at her SNS even when I was there complaining. There was no driver at the location to take me to work and when I tried to reach the manager Amy said kept repeating that the manager is not there. When I asked the manager's number, she did not provide it to me and after sometime, she finally reached out to the manager and the manager arranged me to get a new rental vehicle. Obviously I was late for work and wasted time by being there at 7:30am which was suggest by Discount staff. Additionally, I rented the car for additional 4 days in the end. When I extended rent, I confirmed several time with Tom that I will get a refund if I return the car before the end of the rental period for the remaining days. I ended up only using it for 3 days and when I asked for refund, Tom said that he had to confirm with my insurance first before issuing a refund and that he will process the refund within 1 or 2 days. I waited for several days to receive it but never got the refund. So I had to call them again and Tom said that he will put me on hold for a moment but then he hung up on me instead of putting me on hold. Then, when I called back, he was too busy to answer my call and did not get back to for couple of hours. I had to call back again as he is not calling me back. Then, when I finally got in touch with the manager, he let me know that the refund has been issued. I am not sure why I had to work like a dog to get my rightful refund. If I hadn't called back, I guarantee that he was not going to issue me the refund. If this is how they are increasing their revenue, it is a fraud and also detrimental to Discount's business. This Discount location only has two staffs that I've met who are either giving false promises (Tom) or too busy looking at SNS and does not want to work (Amy).
