Lisa, the remote start will turn on your Honda Civic for 20 minutes total. When you initially start the vehicle remotely, it will stay on for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes it will power off, but you do have the option to start it for an additional 10 minutes. Once the 20 minute time span has elapsed, you are unable to start the vehicle remotely anymore and must go into the vehicle and push to start for safety purposes.
