Incompetent mechanics

Problems with 2011 Elantra while under warranty. Mechanics couldn’t find the problem. Found lots of problems after warranty expired and did work but didn’t solve problems. So unnecessary work done. Service manager and general manager kept promising to call to discuss but don’t. Issues on 2014 Elantra were dismissed as that’s how the car operates. Don’t trust the desk service people. Turns out my FOBs were defective but were too old to be replaced. Would cost me $400 3 years later to keep the remote starter.
