Bad News and Good News
Considering the Honda Civic was brand new , a week or two old (354 km) and only halfway through the first tank of gas, when the rear wheel misalignment was discovered as the Winter tires were being installed, we requested that the alignment be checked at the Palladino service garage. We were given an appointment over a week from the day of our request. We requested a simple alignment check to verify the findings of the winter tire installer but we were advised that it was a busy time.
As a result the vehicle sat in our garage for a week in order to not cause excessive wear to the new tires as we were uncertain as to the severity of the rear wheel misalignment.
A simple check to corroborate the other garage's findings could have avoided this inconvenience for us.
We were happy with the alignment at no cost and quite pleased with our salesperson, Andrew Nazaruk, who tried to have the car taken in for a an alignment check only.
