Beware of the service department taking advantage
My mother has been dealing here for years. She always told me she was so happy with how well her vehicle was looked after. Until yesterday. She received an unusually large bill for a vehicle that is routinely maintained with very low mileage (she is 87 yrs old and doesn’t drive much). She called me after as she was surprised she had to put out well over $1000 for her vehicle that is like new. The inspection report filled out by the technician clearly states that all tires are wearing evenly, yet she was up sold a four wheel alignment for no good reason. They proceeded to also sell her an EFI service (total hogwash) which was not required. In addition to that, the rear brake pads and rotors were also replaced when the report clearly stated there was at least 50% left. In addition to all of these unnecessary repairs they also recommended a brake fluid flush. As stated before this vehicle is like new. They took advantage of an 87 yr old woman who agreed to these repairs because she trusted them and thought it should be done. I called this morning to discuss this with the service advisor. He was extremely defensive and quickly realized that he was not able to pull the wool over my eyes. You should be ashamed taking advantage of a loyal customer like that. So to all who are not educated in mechanical repairs/maintenance beware of being sold things you don’t need.
