Awful Experience
I attended eastern last year and to say the money is NOT worth it is an understatement. The CYCW instructor was the only good thing that came from my experience. To begin, the school is already way too expenseive and you do not have the option of not buying textbooks so it adds up. I attended during covid and didnt recieve half of my textbooks but still paid for them. After fighting with the head of the school for about a week or two, they reimbursed me $600. The school is very unorganized at set up very weird with the way classes work. When it came time for placements I ended up having to use my current job as my hours because they were unable to find me a placement and said it may take weeks and that I would graduate late (the only reason I chose this school was for the placement). When I finally graduated I was so excited I recieved distinction and was excited to show my family before I moved away, months later my diploma did not show up. I had to email multiple times to get my diploma sent out. about 3 months after I finished I recieved it. Lastly, there was a virtual graduation held but no email was sent to me to inform me and I checked on my student account and there was nothing posted about it. I found out after the fact. Although my experience was awful, I learned SO much from my teacher about my program and life and wouldnt trade that part for the world. To say Eastern has to get its crap together is an understatement. Hoping noone else has to go through what I did.
