No reply to email asking for clarification

My Honda CRV 2007 was taken for service to Honda by my children. A report was issued by Honda Service with a number of recommendations. I sent an email to Honda service asking for clarification, but this email had no answer. later I called Honda Service to enquire about one particular recommendation and was given a vague answer, indicating that it was up to me to decide.
