Had the same mechanic tell me that there's nothing wrong with my 2018 Ford Focus that told me 30,000+km ago that the sound of my clutch failing was the sound of me breaking my new car in... This time it's a whistling sound coming from the engine that is the issue. I got charged $38 for incompetence on the mechanics behalf which I will be asking to be returned to me upon my next visit.
