Mr Jim Ashby helped us solve our problem

Mr Jim Ashby helped us solve the problem with our loose rear mirror. After hearing for the problem he called us and made a new appointment today at 04 PM. The problem was fixed within 30-35 minutes! Thank you Mr Ashby! This was a great example how to treat customers!

Very bad appointment system

My wife and I bought two Honda civic cars in the Scarborough Dealership in September 2021, one on my wife name (Gordana Pikula) and the other for our daughter Nina, and so far we are happy with the cars. But recently I noticed that the rear mirror in my wife's car (I share the car with her) is very loose so we decide to visit the service at 940 Ellesmere Rd where we met Mr Edmond Cheung, the service manager, who informed us to call for the first appointment to see for the diagnostic of the problem. He also said that most probably there would be another appointment for definite solution of the problem depending on the availability of the parts. We were OK with his explanation and the same day called for an appointment which was scheduled for Thursday, the13th of September 2023 at 10:30. When we came we were told by Mr Raymond Chan that, although we came at the time of the appointment, they would start with diagnostics for additional 2-3 hours. Meantime we may wait! We were shocked with that statement! What is a point of an appointment at 10:30 am if you will have a service at 01 pm!! Can you imagine coming to a dentist appointment at 10:30 and then you are told that your dentist would start working on your problem within 2-3 hours!! Since we had some other obligations we refused that and the next day I called Mr Edmond Cheung and had a long conversation with him. He tried to explain the problems with service like they are busy, all customers wait etc. but I could not accept his explanation. An appointment should provide a customer fast and reliable service. If you have an appointment in Costco to change tires you will have service on time! Eventually he suggested that I bring the car on Tuesday, the 18th of 2023 at 07:30 and he would personally do diagnostics! I was there on time and reported to Mr Raymond Can for my appointment with Mr Edmond Cheung and Mr Chan told me to wait because Mr Cheung was not at work yet. I was waiting 35 minutes and since Mr Cheung did not come or called I decided to leave! On my way outside Mr Chan told me that Mr Cheung has a call for me. I refused to accept the call because I felt offended for waiting so long. I asked Mr Chan to tell Mr Cheung that I am upset for for his unprofessional behaviour. This is not way how to treat customers! It is also obvious the the appointment system in the Roadsport Honda is not working well!! Our rear mirror is still loose!!
