Disgusting experience with a deceitful and arrogant service manager.
Wife's 2019 CRV was towed to moncton Honda. Would not start. Technician determined low voltage was the problem. Battery was charged. They said it's fine now but if it happens again battery will need replacement. So we got them to replace instead of problem reoccurring .Cost $438. Three weeks later same problem. I had alternator and battery checked before returning to dealership. Alternator not charging. Intermittent problem with alternator and whining noise coming from it. Drove to dealer and explained to service manager that alternator has been the problem all along. Kept making up other reasons for the problem. Then he rechecked it and diagnosed alternator failure. Ordered alternator. 3 days later it arrives damaged. 4 days after that new one finally installed. Kevin Brushett assured us $438 would be returned and it was. But new battery was removed and a used battery was installed. Battery is 2 years older than the original. Totally disrespectful. For all the aggravation and inconvenience, leaving the new battery in would have been quite a statement. My wife's last 4 vehicles have been Honda's but there won't be another. Dealing with Ben Kierstead was a total nightmare!
