Terrible service from so called ‘service’
Driving home from BC today, passing Moose Jaw the engine light came on my 2020 equinox and a message saying to service ‘ESC’ so I stopped in to ask exactly what it was. And my god, what a mistake that was. Talked to Josh, and I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or what but he couldn’t be bothered to even tell me what it meant or how serious it was. Just produced to tell me he doesn’t have time to look at it today. Which is fair, I completely understand. I honestly didn’t want him too. What I wanted him to do is maybe explain what ESC is and possible scan to read what the code was. And if I could make it home and deal with it then. For a ‘service advisor’ he couldn’t even tell me what it was, kept mentioning ‘ECM’ and I corrected him multiple times that is was ESC. He had to look it up and just read me the abbreviation. Couldn’t be bothered to explain anything. I get I didn’t have an appointment but he could have atleast been somewhat helpful while he was just sitting there. He treated me like I was just stupid for even coming in, and didn’t seem knowledgeable or atleast didn’t have any interest in even having a conversation. The guy needs to learn some people skills if he’s going to work customer service.
