An Unsettling and Dismissive Service Experience at Steeles Chev Dartmouth
My recent experience at Steeles Chev Dartmouth was frustrating and deeply upsetting. I brought in my 2020 Buick Encore GX for issues covered under warranty, including a blurry back camera that had been a problem since I bought the car. When I returned, I was shocked to find a $203.48 diagnostic charge for the camera—conducted without my consent. The advisor, Adrian, repeatedly insisted the issue was due to a minor dent, disregarding my explanation that the camera blurriness was present from the start.
When I asked to speak with a manager, Adrian simply told me no one was available, leaving me with no choice but to pay if I wanted my car back. The experience left me feeling completely dismissed and helpless, as though my concerns didn’t matter. I hope Steeles Chev Dartmouth takes this feedback seriously and reconsiders how they treat their customers, so others don’t have to go through the same distressing experience.
