Don't get your car fixed here
I went to the dealership April 25, 2019 to talk to them about damage that was done to my car either February 1 or 4th. I made an appointment to have my oil changed for February 1st. My car sat there all day and when I came to get it at the end of the day they said they were not able to do anything and I would have to come back in on the Monday February 4th as they could not get the oil drain plug out. Not sure why I had to be without my car for the full day when they knew they couldn't do anything. Something seemed suspicious then. I brought the car back in on February 4th to have the oil changed. Neither time did they wash my car as it was too cold out to do so. I had the oil change done again on April 15th. At that time I showed one of the service advisors the damage that was caused by the shop lift on either February 1st or 4th. I was asked to come back in April 25th to discuss the damages done to my car. They took it and put it up on the Hoist again and decided that it was not caused by the Hoist. Someone told me it is already started to rust. I told them it happened February 1st or February 4th. Of course there's going to be rust developed on there now. The fellow said that it was probably damaged by a chunk of ice. What a ridiculous statement that is. The damage is done on both rocker panels not just one , and its in the same area that a hoist would lift the car. OMS is the only one that does service to my car. And the only one that would have used a hoist to do any oil change. I thought I would give the dealership a chance to fix a wrong but as I suspected they deny any wrongdoing. The dealership said today that they would give me an estimate from their body shop and maybe cut me a break. I should not have to pay anything for this repair. BTW, I had just spent $1800 at this dealership a couple weeks prior. They have made alot of money off me and they can't do the right thing? Don't service your vehicle here.
