Unprofessional, defensive, frustrating, expensive.
In previous dealings with the Sherwood Honda Service Manager I was not at all satisfied with the way issues were dealt with. 2013 Accord Sport Purchased Dec 20, 2012. The engine used over 2 litres of oil in the month of February. That was deemed as normal. The block/head gasket was leaking oil by February 2013. It was recorded by Service but the explanation was also "Normal". A leaking head gasket on a brand new engine is not normal.
July 2013 - driver floor mat was worn through under the right foot. Service manager does not want to replace the mat because, ".. when it wears out I'll just ask for another one".
Dealership Oil change ~$43, interior air Filter change ~$117. To open the glove compartment and slide a filter out / and in. Really $117??
I do not live in Sherwood Park or Edmonton. It is a more than a 1000 km round trip to Sherwood Honda. After having the car for a few months in the winter of 2012/13 I approached the Service group at Sherwood Honda to see if the high beam of hte headlights could be corrected/aimed, etc as the lights are easily over driven. the reflector design does not provide sufficient distance to safely drive at night. If an animal is o nthe highway, you will not have sufficient time to stop when it finally enteres the beam of the headlights. The response from the Service manager was disrespectful and insulting.
I have a number of unresolved issues. Some one from Honda should contact me to resolve them.
I believe there are a number of improvements that Honda needs to address immediately. That aside the lack of service is apalling.
