Would not go back!

First I requested an economy car at the Dougall Location in Windsor I ended up with a Chief Cherokee because they ran out. To some that might have been okay but I was thinking about gas economy. I kept the car for 3 days rather than the day (Friday) because I had plan to ended not being able to bring it back on time on Saturday. I was told that If I bring it back after hours I will be charged for the Sunday because they are closed. I ended up being charged $157.00 originally the price was $27.00. The computers were really slow, I was not able to speak to a manager although the manger was at the back in the facility. I would not recommend Discount car rental to anyone!

DIDN'T DELIVER WHAT WAS PROMISED

The primary reason we had booked Discount was because there was a service for a car to be available at the Windsor VIA Rail Station. There was no car there. Instead we waited over half an hour for someone to pick us up and take us to the rental office. We wasted an hour of our time. To be fair, the agent provided a small discount but this hardly made up for the fact that we were very inconvenienced. This also meant that we couldn't return the car to the train station. We had to drop it off at the rental office. Again, to be fair, we were given a ride to the train station. But, the point is, this isn't what we were promised and it had an impact on our plans. Very disappointed.

Late Delivery

I arrived at the location 45 minutes before the scheduled pick up so I can get the cargo van on time. Came to know that all the vans are on the other location and it will take 30 minutes to get it to this location. I had to wait one and half hour for the van and another 20 minutes for the paper work. I got late one hour from my job for no reason. Location manager, Dave, was not very sportive and gave lame excuses. Next time I rather rent from UHaul or Budget. Disappointed

Ambivalent service

I was forced to wait for my rental at the train station in Windsor. Although your staff treated me very well, your remote system to unlock vehicles at the parking lot didn't work. Furthermore the vehicle at that location was damaged and your system was not aware about it - which put the onus of identifying the issue on me. In the other hand, your staff took the time to pick me up at the station and give me a ride back after my business was done. Please streamline the pickup process at the station and be sure that your vehicles can be accessible at that location - or just inform before hand to your clients that they need to wait at least 30 minutes for a car.

Complete customer dissatisfaction

Booked vehicle of economy class and got confirmation as well. But when reached to location to pick up the vehicle, they simply answered with no vehicles and sorry. I’m in hurry for interview and they made me wait for almost 1 hr. At last they gave a grand caravan which is a good thing but it is not the vehicle which I wanted. It costed me 100$ for fuel which actually should be 50$. I previously had good impression towards discount which shattered now. Hope they do well in future.
